Like a warrior’s fistful of arrows are the children of a vigorous youth. Oh, how blessed are you parents, with your quivers full of children! Your enemies don’t stand a chance against you; you’ll sweep them right off your doorstep.

OPCCKIDS Power Play

This summer is going to be a blast for kids at OPCC. To kick it off kids K-6th Grade are headed to Power Play Friday, May 18th @ 6 pm. The cost is $14.00 per child and $7.00 per adult (If you are a kid at heart and want to play games too then you can pay $14.00). This price includes Pizza buffet, 32 power-play points, and 2 large activities. To register fill out a connection card and write Power Play along with the names of the registrants at the bottom and place it in the offering. You may pay by check or through our online giving portal at http://overlandpark.cc/giving/. The registration deadline is May 16th. If using a check please put Power Play Registration in the memo. If paying online select Kids City Event Registration as the fund choice. This is the first of many outreach events so keep a look out and please invite your kids friends to attend with them.

New Series This Weekend

This weekend is Easter and we are kicking off a new series called Transformer. Each week Jimmy will share an incredible story of transformation from the Bible. It will be a powerful experience and one you and your friends are sure to enjoy. Its a great time to get out of your comfort zone and invite someone to church. We all encounter people every day who are lonely and far from God. Last week Stephanie Lentsch felt a prompting from the Holy Spirit to hand the young man who took her order at Arby’s an invite card. She was nervous but took the risk and did it in spite of her fear. This past Sunday Preston White showed up at OPCC and made the decision to become a follower of Christ. Preston is actually getting baptized this Easter! That is how simple it is. Make sure you are listening and responding when the Lord prompts you to invite a stranger or a friend. Easter Egg Hunt

This Easter we are having an egg hunt for the kids. We need all the candy we can collect so we can stuff the eggs for the kids. Feel free to bring stuffed eggs or candy. We need both! Thanks so much for sowing into the lives of OPCCKIDS!

Friday March 23, OPCC is hosting a Game Night to have fun and build relationships. Childcare with activities will be available in the large activity room for $10 per family while all “adults” head upstairs for a time of fellowship and games. Mark your calenders for March 23rd from 6-10 pm. Please bring a finger food and/or a desert. Hope to see you all there!

Girls Night Out
