Week 13:
Zume Session 3
For the first 30 minutes, please enjoy a meal together as a group. This is an intentional time set aside for fellowship. Eating together is a family activity, and helps us become like a spiritual family. This is one simple way we practice doing what Jesus did.
1/3rd
Pray for God to train up the group through His Word and Holy Spirit.
Ask: “What are you thankful for that God did this week?” (Have everyone share)
Ask: Based on the previous 3/3rds we did (Have everyone share):
“How did you obey what God taught you to do?”
“Who did you teach what God taught to you?”
Ask: “Does anyone need help this week? (meals, service, finances, etc.)
Ask: “What would you like prayer for?” (Have everyone share; everyone pray for the person on their right)
Focus on the Gospel: Read Galatians 4:3-7
Have everyone go around and try to recite the whole passage by memory.
ZUME TRAINING:
Discuss:
What are some differences you see between God's Spiritual Economy and our earthly way of getting things done?
Where do you need to shift in your life in order to invest into God’s economy more?
Discuss:
What are you confident in training others believers in?
Who are you discipling right now?
Discuss:
Have you been baptized? If not, who is a believer you could talk to and take this next step of obedience with?
Have you ever baptized someone?
Would you even consider it?
If the Great Commission is for every follower of Jesus, does that mean every follower is allowed to baptize others? Why or why not?
This Week’s Application:
Be baptized if you have never made that decision.
Plan a time this upcoming week to talk to your “one” about getting baptized if they never have.
Ask someone pray to close out your group’s time.
